Moqueca time

Moque..what?. One of the national dish of Brazil. Not for a diet but it’s opulent. Rich and intense. A kind of a Creole mixture of portuguese flavours and local settlers ones.

Fish or prawns, rice, local ingredients and seasonings. Coconut milk, and rich palm oil. Quite filling but essential to get an idea of local food. I took it Royal Astoria  (not Hard Rock Rio) overlooking Botafogo Bay.

Try it anywhere in Brazil.
